Better Cupertino Forum on Regional Planning

Better Cupertino’s second forum on growth will take place on October 29 at Cupertino Community Hall. This time, we will focus on regional planning.
Bay Area cities face more and more challenges nowadays. If you believe that more community discussion on regional planning for transportation, housing, retails, employment, and infrastructure maintenance …… will benefit us, please attend this forum. In this free event, you can learn from several elected officials in first session (~1 hour) and ask questions to them directly in second session (~1 hour).
Four panelists are invited:
- Kansen Chu — California Assembly Member, District 25 (including cities of Santa Clara, San Jose, Milpitas, Newark and Fremont); Transportation Committee Member of CA Assembly
- Chappie Jones — San Jose City Councilmember, District 1 (West San Jose area)
- Richard Bernhardt — CEO of Bernhardt Communications and Strategies Co., COO of Silicon Valley Investment Group, Former Sunnyvale Planning Commissioner; Former Chairman of Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce, Guest of the video program “Silicon Valley Buzz — Cupertino Clash”
- Tom Dubois — Palo Alto City Councilmember, Supported by Palo Altans for Sensible Zoningorganization
- Moderator: Yang Shao — Vice President of Fremont Unified School District Board
